Privacy Policy

MirrorCast ("we", "the app") respects your privacy. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your data.

The short version

MirrorCast mirrors your phone screen to another device over your local network. Your screen content is never sent to us or to any third-party server. There is no account and no login.

What the app accesses

• Screen contents — captured only while you are casting, so they can be shown on the device you connect. Frames are served over your local network only.
• Local network — the app runs a small web server on your phone so nearby devices you choose can view the stream.

What we store

• Your subscription status (a simple on/off flag) is stored locally on your device so the app remembers you're a Premium user.
• We do not collect your name, email, contacts, location, or browsing activity.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We never see or store your payment details. Your purchase is tied to your store account.

Advertising

The free version shows ads. Ad providers (such as Google AdMob) may use a device advertising identifier to show and measure ads. Premium removes all ads. You can control ad personalization in your device settings, and review Google's policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Data sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data. Screen content stays on your local network and is not transmitted to us.

Children

MirrorCast is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
